The key has to be programmed by the dealer or someone who can work with the cluster. The key (other end of the key fob) was ordered directly from the dealership for 65.00 (cut for your car). I bought my remote from ebay used for 20.00 and ordered a new shell from ebay for another 5.00. The key is a two piece unit, with the remote on one end and the key, with the RFID on the other. Since yours in 2006, VagTacho will not work. I had a similar situation on both of my cars as they came from the auctions with a single key. ![]()
